For example, Facebook has over 800 million users on it, imagine if you only got a 1% slice of that. Or what having 10,000 followers on Twitter that are listening for every word you tweet. Another social media channel is YouTube and its ability for viral marketing. For example, a couple had posted their wedding dance on YouTube and before they knew it, they have had over 100 million views. That’s heaps!!

Another great tool is social bookmarking using tools such as Digg, Delicious and Reddit. These allow people to vote on your website and the most popular items go to the top. As a result, the more and more people that vote these websites go to the top of the viewing list and obviously more people will check it out.
